Through our collective fundraising efforts, we have the power to drive progress for a disease that has been overlooked for far too long. Low-grade serous ovarian cancer(LGSOC) is distinct and requires its own dedicated research—yet it receives only a fraction of the attention and funding it needs.
By joining forces and pooling our resources, we can support the scientists and studies focused specifically on LGSOC, accelerating the development of better treatments and, ultimately, a cure. Together, we can fund the breakthroughs that patients with LGSOC urgently need and deserve.
A committee made up of partner organizations in the LGSOC Day Coalition will be formed to ensure that 100% of the funds raised on LGSOC Day are thoughtfully directed to support the most promising and impactful LGSOC research.

When we each give our time in some way for LGSOC Awareness Day—whether it’s sharing a post, hosting a conversation, attending an event, or simply learning more—we create a powerful collective impact.
Together, our efforts help educate more people about low-grade serous ovarian cancer and expand awareness far beyond our immediate circles. This is especially critical for reaching young women, who are disproportionately affected by this disease. By showing up together, we ensure that more people are informed, supported, and empowered—because awareness saves lives.
